Well said Sandie. Giving away discounts devalues your services and indicates that your pricing is entirely flexible. Maintaining price integrity is important. As soon as you make your pricing flexible you spoil the relationship and invite MORE negotiation and bartering.

Thank you, I appreciate your comments. I always tell my clients and course participants to make a positive assumption, that your patient came to your office for your diagnosis and treatment plan, followed by a positive assertion, “this is the treatment that I prescribe to solve your problem.” That is what your patients expect.
Sometimes patients think if you don’t say anything that they did not need the treatment in the first place.
